"This edition of Value Criterion is a compilation of editions 1-4 (the first edition was made in 2017, then 2018, then 2019, and then 2021). I had started collecting perfumes in 2014 and from there built my collection. It started as a collection of perfume reviews I wrote in an attempt to be able to conjure smells through memory alone. I started to include other smell notes and the edition is now a bunch of smell logs (from an old defunct instagram I ran called "virtualsniff" which assigned smells to videos i captured, its still up on insta), perfume reviews, essays, experiments, crowdsourced thoughts, perfume forum posts, posters from the "Smell Museum" I put together in 2017, and general smell thoughts."
